Rising number of playschools in India

Playschools in India are on the rise and not only in the metropolitan cities, but all across the country. You can see this by the rise in the number of playschool franchise across the country. Today every parent wants the best for their child and they start right at the beginning with playschools and day care centers. Pre-school in India is divided into three stages with the first being playschool. The second being junior kindergarten or Jr. KG and the third being senior kindergarten or Sr. Kg. Playschools in India have children from the ages of 1 ½ to around 2-2 ½ years.
Here the children are in a no pressure situation where they for the first time are away from the security of their homes and their family. Here they begin their first venture in getting to know strangers and this immensely helps in developing their inter-personal social skills. Most children are either shy of robust by nature, but either way meeting new kids, of their age helps them break the ice and come down or up to a common meeting ground where everyone interacts equally.
Playschools India improves motor skills, social skills and helps the brain increase its receptive and retentive powers. Playschools generally only teach basic numbers and alphabets and this knowledge the child only adds to as he or she starts going into higher classes. Playschools in India stress a lot of importance even on teaching arts and crafts to the kids. They feel that only a child who takes part in all activities can develop to his or her true potential. Many parents even learn of their child’s talents through playschool activities and this can allow the parent to take educational decisions that are in favour of their child.
Education for every child begins right from home, but with the ever increasing number of working mothers, the parents are not able to give their child as much time and care as they would want to. And here we say working mothers as, in earlier India, there were more stay at home mothers as opposed to working ones and so the need for great playschool systems has increased in the 21st century India.
